ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- a) Admission is through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Candidates must have satisfied the minimum University requirements for admission and are required to obtain credits in English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or equivalent.
- b) Direct Entry may be considered for:
- i) Candidates holding three papers at the Advanced Level in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in addition to satisfying the minimum requirement for admission through UTME.
(ii) A good Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy, etc) with a minimum of second class honours – lower division in addition to satisfying the minimum requirement for admission through UTME.
iii) Any other qualification adjudged acceptable by the Departmental Admission Board.
DURATION OF COURSE
The duration of the B.MLS degree course is 5 years for UTME candidates and 4 years for Direct Entry candidates.
